CHOOSING A NAME FOR YOUR PUP

Puppies are born to LOVE! Playful and energetic, they each develop a personality of their own. Choosing a name for your puppy should be a creative, fun job. Some owners have a name in mind that they have had picked out for years and some wait to choose the name until they have actually met their new friend. There is no right way to choose!

A few things to take into consideration are the ways in which you will use the puppy’s name. Staying away from names that sound like the word “No” (Moe, Bo, etc.) will help in the training of your dog to understand the value of the word. Having a name with two syllables will help them hear when you are calling them and allow you to create inflection when they are being rewarded or disciplined.

Whichever name you decide on, your best friend will always come when you call!
