We’ve heard your feedback on our Trupanion plan in Florida, and in response, we’ve made changes to better serve both you and your buyers. We’re excited to announce that we’ve updated our Florida plan so that we no longer require an exam on file for pets enrolling under 12 months. Previously, an exam on file was required for pets enrolling over 8 weeks of age.

We’re always looking for new ways to improve our member experience, and hope you’re as excited about this update to the Florida plan as we are.

As a quick reminder, a few of the benefits of the Florida Go Home Day Offer include:

Trupanion plan coverage: With activation of their Go Home Day Offer, your buyers have access to the core Trupanion plan, not a watered down version of it. More details about our coverage can be found here.
No deductibles: With no deductibles to worry about, we’ll begin to pay out your buyers’ covered costs immediately.
Financial flexibility: When your buyers activate their Go Home Day Offer, they can choose the percentage of the covered costs they’d like us to pay, anywhere between 50% and 100% –whatever works best for their budget and lifestyle.
Coverage transparency: Each Florida pet that enrolls in a Trupanion plan will receive a Coverage Summary based on the pet’s medical history, so buyers know exactly what to expect from their coverage.
Extended activation timeline: Your buyers are able to activate their Go Home Day Offer anytime from match date to the day after go home, as long as a deposit on the pet has been paid.
